These nice breakfasts somehow illustrate how I would like to be feeling- productive, happy and inspired at the start of the day but instead I am stressed, tired and uninspired. Still trying to find out the things that make me happy. A nice start of the day is one of those that I have found out so far. Let’s see how it goes. How about you, will you be making yourself a good breakfast tomorrow morning or wait until the weekend?

I had the incredible honor to have my picture (above) published on the Zara People October #3 street style website. For those of you who don’t know what it is – check it out here. Zara gives the opportunity to “normal” people who love shopping at Zara to publish a shot of themselves in an urban environment, wearing 2 or more of their designs. Judging from all the beautiful pictures that they have chosen so far, photography seems to matter equally as styling. And what I love the most about this platform is that it also offers an incredible opportunity for people from all around the world to showcase their work whether they love blogging, styling or photography.

I did most for fun (and a bit for money too as I was broke) and asked one of my good friends who likes taking pictures to shoot me outside one of my favorite shops in East London. It was a mild, sunny Sunday and it was the perfect light and mood for taking that picture. She took me by surprise when I wasn’t posing and the shot was born. And I did enjoy making it even though I also felt embarrassed by all the people who passed by on their way to Brick Lane market and wondered what the hell we were doing.

Anyways, I sent in my picture and only 2 weeks after, Zara called me to say they loved it and wanted to publish it. I was so incredibly happy to get that good news in the morning. And when I saw it on their website, I couldn’t believe it – it looked amazing. Same day I also got lots of new visits on my blog.

So with this post I would like to say THANK YOU ZARA and a warm WELCOME to all new readers!

The heat wave continues in London. After the coldest summer since 1993, we now get the warmest October day in history with almost 30 degrees outside.  Yes, this is also why the blog hasn’t been updated recently. SUN IN LONDON is a rare thing.

I’ve been listening to a lot of 90′s nostalgic pop and rock. The song below has for example been on repeat all day today. I don’t know what it is about these songs but they are still very powerful to me. Maybe it is because they remind me of growing up? Or maybe because I loved the tacky/sexy videos? I don’t know. I still like them. I mean come on- Crazy just breathes Freedom with capital F.

When I brush my teeth: I try to think about interesting things and ideas but mostly I am just very bored.

When I cook food:  I like using fresh herbs.

I am (a little bit) afraid of: never finding a place where I want to settle down.

The worst feeling is:  sorrow.

I’m best at: inspiring and uniting people.

I’m worst at: coming on time.

I’m listening at: the fire in the fireplace.

I talk: too much.

I like: reading, traveling to warm countries, cats and being with people I love.

Love is: great when it is unconditional and mutual.

Last summer: I went on two of the best trips in my life, one to Rome and one to Bulgaria.

Last time I cried: were tears of laughter.

When I want to think: I go on a walk, take a hot shower, write and travel.

When I bake: it is usually a cake.

Right now I am thinking about: that I don’t want to leave Sweden.

Today I have: replanted my 15 year old cactus.

Tonight I will: sleep.

Tomorrow I will: Bake cakes and play with the cats, maybe even write an article or two.

My phone is: out of battery.

When I wake up in the morning: I love turning on the other side and continuing sleeping for a while more.

I love this collection. Why? Simple design, pastel colours, silky materials and dreamy atmosphere. But most of all: clear violet, banana and peach sorbet associations, my favorite when I was little. This is what spring should look like. See the rest of the collection here.
